SQLite is a popular, lightweight database engine widely used in mobile apps, desktop applications, and small to medium web projects. Managing SQLite databases effectively requires a robust and user-friendly tool. In this blog, we explore some of the best SQLite browsers that can significantly enhance your database management experience.
1. DbVisualizer
For long I’ve been using DB Browser for SQLite for a graphical user interface management tool of my sqlite databases. It’s lightweight (less than 100 MB) and fast and can do basic standard operations you would usually do in a database. However, if you want to do advanced features like generating graphical Db schema, you would go to something to a more feature rich graphical database GUI tool like DbVisualizer.
DbVisualizer has a more memory footprint and the current version would take 314 MB space in your computer resulting to a relatively slower speed than SQLite. However, the one feature that it has that other sqlite browser don’t have is the ability to generate a graphical DB Schema.
